Ecological actions carried out at the Les Pins campsite

PROTECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT

Selective sorting and composting of vegetable matter in our composters is de rigueur at our campsite. Sorting bags and compost buckets will be given to you on arrival for a deposit of €10.
We don’t use phytosanitary products to control weeds!
We operate in a healthy, non-aggressive environment that respects the natural vegetation of our campsite. Ecolabeled, eco-certified and organic cleaning products are environmentally friendly.
Water-saving measures have been taken, such as the installation of rainwater harvesters for watering our flower beds and various works. Our sanitary facilities and all our rental units have been fitted with showerheads and aerators to reduce the flow of water.

Les actions écologiques réalisées au camping les Pins
Le camping Les Pins à à Bains-les-Bains dans les Vosges apporte une grande attention à sa consommation et à l’utilisation de l’eau.

We try as much as we can to respect WATER.

As our campsite is located in the heart of the spa town of BAINS LES BAINS and several other spas in the Vosges, we pay close attention to water consumption and usage. Our aim is to achieve a 50% saving on the previous year’s consumption. We are also working on energy savings by installing LED lighting and sensors in common areas. Traffic routes within the campsite have been marked out with solar-powered lights. We encourage our guests and spa visitors to regulate their electricity consumption. As far as the snack bar is concerned, we encourage as far as possible the supply of products from short or local circuits. We are currently working with recycled packaging, but we consider this action insufficient, and we are looking for solutions to further improve this type of packaging.

Our actions for the environment

Les Pins campsite in Bains-les-Bains, for the respect of the environment, has carried out the following actions:

We have invested in and installed 11 light poles. They use small solar panels to power an LED light that illuminates the campsite at nightfall. The poles don’t dazzle, and they help you find your way around the campsite at night.
The campsite has fitted Presto taps in the sanitary facilities, as well as in the washing-up and laundry bins, to avoid unnecessary water consumption. In the showers, we have installed aerators to reduce pressure and waste.
The mousseur is an accessory that attaches to the outlet of kitchen or bathroom faucets to reduce the flow of water. It saves money, filters water and prevents splashing. Also known as water aerator, aerator reducer, jet regulator or water saver.
The campsite has a compost bin, where staff and campers can deposit coffee grounds, vegetable and plant peelings, etc. The fertilizer obtained will be spread in the garden. The resulting fertilizer will be spread in the garden.
At the entrance to the facility, we have placed various garbage cans to facilitate selective sorting. One for glass, another for recycling and another for cardboard. The rest of the garbage goes into the household waste garbage can.
On the campsite, you’ll find nesting boxes for birds. We provide winter food for the birds.
Hedges are not trimmed during the nesting season.
We limit the printing of paper documents, preferring the telephone and computer wherever possible.

These actions are very simple and easy to respect. Nature will thank us!

Our sustainable tourism initiatives for the 2024 season

To continue to effectively improve our actions for the 2024 season, always being eco-responsible, Les Pins campsite in Bains-les-Bains in the Vosges will continue its ecological action.
In an effort to reduce waste, we’re planning to set up a small shelter to collect items you can’t or don’t want to take back with you when you leave. For example, camping equipment and the like. These items could then find a second life in the hands of other holidaymakers.
Enabling each and every one of our holidaymakers to take a step in favor of the environment thanks to these various solutions is essential and a source of great pride for us.

At Les Pins campsite in Bains-les-Bains, we don’t waste anything! We repair, transform and give a second life to equipment and objects wherever possible.
